Jeudi 14 avril 2016: campagne anti-cancer à la Libano-Française de Technologie U L F
Partant des principes de solidarité sociale et de sensibilisation civile aux problèmes qui affectent la santé de l'individu, les étudiants de la section anglaise de l'ULF ont organisé un évènement visant à aider la recherche médicale portant sur le cancer de la tête et du cou. Jeudi 14 avril, les jeunes de l'ULF ont préparé eux-mêmes un menu complet de déjeuner (avec fruit et dessert gracieusement offerts), qu'ils ont ensuite vendu. L'évènement a été un succès, puisque tous les plats ont trouvé acheteurs. La recette sera offerte en donation à une organisation libanaise qui s'occupe de combattre les cancers de la tête et du cou.
Cet évènement n'aurait pas réussi sans l'engagement des étudiants, leurs efforts et leur esprit d'équipe, ainsi que la générosité de la pâtisserie La Madeleine, la pâtisserie Le Gourmand et le restaurant Chater Hassan. U n grand merci aussi aux équipes administratives et aux professeurs et étudiants des deux campus de l'ULF: Deddeh et Tripoli.
L'ULF salue le sens du collectif du comité d'organisation composé par les étudiants: chef Maher el Loz, Ahmad Lababidi, Elie Youssef, Ghada Chalak, Hiba Naghi, Hussein Merhebi, Layal Dandachi, Mohamad al Itawi, Yara Khalil et Zeina Haydar (par ordre alphabétique).

The U L F campaign against cancer
Thursday April 14, 2016: The students of the English section of the Lebanese French University of Tripoli U L F organized an event destined to raise awareness among their fellow students about the cancer of the head and the neck. Student chef Maher el Lone, students Ahmad Lababidi, Elie Youssef, Ghada Chalak, Hiba Naghi, Hussein Merhebi, Layal Dandachi, Mohamad al Itawi, Yara Khalil and Zeina Haydar (alphabetical order) from Tripoli Campus cooked lunch which they sold to support the combat against cancer in Lebanon, by donating the sum collected to an association working in this field.
They were helped by students Joanna Merhebi and Walid Neouchy , as well as Sayed Abdel Ahad and Youssef Nouhra from Deddeh Campus . The U L F instructors in both campuses enjoyed a festive moment, precious in the joy of friendly gathering and the spirit of collective engagement it brought.

حملة الجامعة اللبنانية الفرنسية ضد السرطان
اقام طلاب الجامعة اللبنانية الفرنسية للتكنولوجيا ULF فرع اللغة الانكليزية يوما طلابيا في حرم الجامعة في طرابلس بهدف نشر التوعية عن واقع سرطان الرأس والعنق في لبنان بين زملائهم .فكانت حصيلة هذا الحدث الطلابي نهارا" رائعا" تميز بروحية التشارك المجتمعي وأهمية ملاقاه الاخر في مرضه. وقد قام الطلاب التالية اسماؤهم بطهو اكثر من مئة وجبة غذاء كاملة عمدوا الى تقديم ريعها الى احدى الجمعيات اللبنانية التي تعنى بمكافحة السرطان والطلاب هم : شيف ماهر اللون ،يارا خليل، زينة حيدر، ايلي يوسف، ليال دندشي، احمد لبابيدي، هبة ناغي، حسين مرعبي،غادة شلق ومحمد عيتاوي وقد عاونهم ايضا"زملاؤهم من ULF دده :وليد نعوشي،جوانا مرعبي ،يوسف نهرا،وسايد عبد الاحد.كما يهم إدارة الجامعة اللبنانية الفرنسية ان تتوجه بالشكر لكل من باتيسريla madeleine ،باتيسري le gourmand ومطعم الشاطر حسن لمساهمتهم الكريمة
